To avoid unwanted interactions, all animals must be restrained by a leash, a carrier, or in your arms while anywhere on the property, both inside and out.

We are open long hours every day and work many more hours than we are open. Our time off is just as important to us as yours is to you. We will always open and close our doors at the posted times. Please do not ask us to vary them in any way. It is uncomfortable for us to say no, but we always will.

• What to Bring for Boarding

Dogs:

We provide beds, blankets, and food/water bowls. We will not accept any personal blankets or bowls. We can provide food as well, but you are more than welcome to bring their own. We hand out milkbones, but you can bring their favorite treats to give to them instead. We have a special fridge to store anything that needs to be kept cold or frozen. You may bring up to 2 toys per dog. 

Cats: 

We provide blankets, bowls, and litter boxes. We only provide dry kibble. If they are on a canned or pouch diet, you may bring that with them. Cats must be brought in a carrier that will stay with them for the stay.

• Food Container Requirements

While we are more than happy to feed our house food, we understand that some pet parents prefer to keep their dogs on certain diets. Pet parents are more than welcome to bring their own food, but we do have some restrictions. Due to limited space, we can only accept dog food containers of certain sizes. We will have to turn away anything that cannot be stored on our shelves and in our containers.

 We have five different options:

Check-in services may take a few moments. Customers are asked to anticipate various waiting times.

We require three vaccinations for dogs entering Hollycrest and two for cats. All dogs must have up to date inoculations for rabies, DHLPP (the distemper combo with parvo) and Bordetella (also known as kennel cough).

Rabies and DHLPP can be one or three years as written by your vet. If your vet does not recommend giving the DHLPP for health or age reasons we must receive that information in writing and signed by the vet.

For cats, we require rabies and FVRCP of one or three years as written by your Vet.

All vaccines must be given by a licensed veterinarian and may be given up to or including the day of your arrival. Vaccinations given by the owner or anyone else will not be accepted. It is your responsibility to provide us with proof of vaccination prior to your pet’s visit. We look forward to caring for your pet(s), but we cannot assist you in getting vaccination information.
